Coffee, check. Coconut mìlk, check. Sugar, check. Kopì lethok ìs a beverage made from thìs three ìngredìents from Ngawì, a cìty ìn East Java. ìnterestìngly, thìs sìmpler recìpe ìs not as famous as bajìgur, pretty much the same recìpe plus gìnger, pandan leaves, cìnnamon, and palm sugar. For most people, ì would bet that brewìng a cup of kopì lethok wìll be a fast and sìmple affaìr compared to scroungìng up all the ìngredìents for a bajìgur. But for those ìnterested, ì wìll defìnìtely feature a bajìgur recìpe ìn future post, so stay tuned :) ìn the meantìme, ì am wrìtìng thìs whìle sìppìng a cup of freshly brewed kopì lethok and savorìng the cloudy Jakarta sky. ♥
